1. Respect for creators

KathaLanka publishes original fiction. We respect copyright and expect every submitted story to be the author's own original work. All content on this platform is fictional; no content is imported from third-party story libraries or scraped from other websites.

2. How to report a violation

If you believe content on KathaLanka infringes your copyright, please send a notice including:

• a description of the copyrighted work and proof of ownership;
• the exact URL(s) of the allegedly infringing story (or stories);
• your contact details;
• a statement that the notice is submitted in good faith.

Send the notice to our contact page with the subject “Copyright notice”, or use the report form with the “Copyright violation” reason.

3. What happens next

We acknowledge receipt within a reasonable time. Where a claim is valid, the content is removed promptly. Submitters who repeatedly publish infringing content lose publishing rights.

4. Abuse of the process

Knowingly false takedown claims are themselves a violation of our policy and may result in the claimant being blocked from the platform.
