Wal Katha is an original publishing platform for fictional stories in Sinhala and English — නිර්මාණාත්මක සිංහල වල් කතා කතා එකතුව. Our library brings together long-form drama, mystery, adventure and romance, published chapter by chapter, written for readers who love a story they can settle into.

What we publish

Every story on Wal Katha is fiction. We accept original submissions only and never import content from other websites. Our editorial team works with authors to polish chapters and prepare each story for publication.

An adults-only platform

Wal Katha is intended for readers aged 18 and over. Some stories contain adult themes, and every sexual character is explicitly 18 or older. Underage content is prohibited.

Get involved

Authors who want to publish original fiction in Sinhala or English can write to us through the contact page. Readers who notice anything that violates our content policy can report it — every report is read by a human.
